We're sad to hear of the passing of Norma Lamont yesterday. Norma was a great soprano and long time member of both the Eisteddfod Choir and ChoralAires.
Norma could always be relied upon for her comedic timing in theatre restaurants. It didn't matter how bizarre the character she was given, she always rose to the occasion. We have particularly fond memories of Noma's performance with Daphne Pease as Norse Viking women in "soap opera".
Our thoughts and prayers are with Norma and her family.
